Undergraduate Fees & Bursaries

FEE-HELP
The College is an approved Higher Education Provider (HEP) under the Higher Education Support Act (2003). This means that we are permitted to offer FEE-HELP to eligible students. Your FEE-HELP application is made on Registration day and you will need your Tax File Number.

Tuition Fees for Undergraduates
As part of catering for FEE-HELP a separate fee is charged for each unit of the course in which a student enrolls. The sum of the fees for required units in each academic year of each undergraduate course in 2009 is $14,330 (except for the one-year Diploma of Bible & Ministry course which may be taken over two years). There are no other fees, apart from accommodation charges (see below), key deposits, certain penalty payments and fees paid on a voluntary basis to the Student Union.

International Students
A separate schedule of fees applies for international students (those with student visas) who enter into an agreement to pay in arrears. This schedule is available on request from the Applications Administrator.
Accommodation Charges
Accommodation charges for single men and women in 2009 are charged at $7,390 per annum for the academic year which includes meals. Other charges may apply outside of term time.
Married housing rent rates for 2009 are between $223 and $296 per week. Supply of married housing is limited.
Bursaries, Grants and Subsidies
- Sydney Diocesan Bursary
Students who are accepted candidates for ordination or other specified ministry in the Diocese of Sydney receive a Bursary from the Sydney Diocesan Ordination Training Fund. For 2009 the amount of the Bursary is yet to be advised. The amount in 2008 is $2,000 paid as a voucher to Moore Books. - Grants for Needy Students
The College receives donations and other income to provide financial assistance to students with financial needs. Enrolled students with financial difficulties are encouraged to consult the Dean of Students on a confidential basis.
Financial Arrangements of the College
1. For students applying for FEE-HELP assistance, any upfront portion of tuition fees is payable by the 23 April for Annual and Semester 1 units or 13 August for Semster 2 units.
2. For international students on student visas, fees are payable at the end of each semester in terms of their payment in arrears agreements.
3. For students not applying for FEE-HELP assistance, fees are due for payment by the 23 April for Annual and Semester 1 units or 13 August for Semster 2 units.
4. Any enrolled student who is eligible for FEE-HELP and has not paid tuition fees before the census date for units of their course is required to apply for FEE-HELP if they wish to continue with their studies for that semester.
5. The Board of Studies reserves the right to cancel the enrolment of any student whose fees are not paid by the due date.
6. Married accommodation is charged weekly in advance during term and should be paid at the Administration office between the hours of 9.00 a.m. - 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday by cash, or by cheque received by mail, or BPAY.
7. Fees and other amounts payable by students are determined by the College Governing Board after the preparation of the College financial budget in the August prior to each academic year. Additional charges are payable for meals and accommodation during College vacations.
