Introduction
Four Year - BD
The Bachelor of Divinity (CRICOS Code 013598B) is a four year degree. It is designed for men and women who desire a biblical and theological foundation for full-time Christian ministry. All students enrol in the BD or the BTh during their first two years, and in Year 3 they either complete the BTh or continue their enrolment in the BD. Hebrew 1 and a project in 4th year are necessary prerequisites for students to be eligible for the award of a BD with honours.
With the exception of Hebrew, there are no elective BD (or BTh) units in years 1 to 3. In Year 4 of the BD course, students are required to enrol in four core units and four (three if a Project is chosen) electives.
Three Year - BTh
The three year Bachelor of Theology (CRICOS Code 041656J) course is designed for men and women who are unable to complete the normal four year course and who wish to graduate after only three years of study. It is fully 'nested' within the BD and consists of all subjects of the first three years of the B.D. Since 2002 the College has been authorised by the NSW Department of Education and Training to award the degree.
